Custom domains and your studio subdomain

Every studio gets a permanent subdomain: https://<your-studio>.shwn.to. All your choice pages live beneath it, at /<link-slug>.

Choosing a studio slug

The slug becomes your public subdomain, so it's worth a moment's thought:

• Lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only.
• Short and speakable — people read these aloud in videos.
• Your channel name usually beats your legal name.

Why the URL never changes

The subdomain and link slug together form a permanent address. You can change where a link points, add stores, and swap affiliate tags at any time, and every video description that already carries the URL keeps working. That's the whole point of putting a shownote link in show notes instead of a store link.
